| Sumario: | "The 1st IAA Latin American Symposium on Small Satellites: Advanced Technologies and Distributed Systems was hosted by the Colomb Institute, of The Argentine Space Agency (CONAE), and San Martín National University (UNSAM), at the Ministry of Science And Technology Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Conrado Varotto, Executive and Technical Director of CONAE was the Honorary Chairman of the Symposium. The participation of scientists, engineers, managers and students from 6 Latin American countries and 10 countries from the rest of the world reflected the high interest in the use of small satellites in the Region. As a result of response to the Call for Papers, 58 candidates had the possibility to present their papers orally, and 14 participants made use of the opportunity to present their paper proposal as a poster."--Presentación. |
